The Hand of God
Content Marketing Framework
The Hand of God is a global content marketing framework that provides a comprehensive platform to create, implement, monitor and optimise large-scale content strategies. This framework is the result of several years of research and experimentation and the ongoing efforts of a small team of developers. The idea behind The Hand of God is a single platform (helping hand) to handle any content marketing challenge from start to finish and beyond. The Hand of God hosts several native features that help content marketers or content networks to run, monitor, optimise and manage content performance out of the box. However, it offers robust customisations to bridge any case-specific gaps by leveraging third-party marketing APIs.
Native Features and Subsystems
With several features and subsystems implemented out of the box, The Hand of God aims to be the only toolkit businesses with a functional content strategy need.
Platform-side Handshake
The framework has a streamline process to establish a handshake (connection) with standalone WordPress and headless WordPress sites (including WooCommerce). However, development kits included with the framework allow developers to seamlessly integrate The Hand of God with almost any CMS. The Hand of God have been successfully integrated with Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify and Squarespace by current clients of this framework.
Server-side Handshake
The Hand of God can be deployed on the server side, allowing the framework to benefit from cookieless data collection as well as site network management and performance monitoring.
Compliance Frameworks
Since a large part of The Hand of God framework is data collection and processing, it supports common consent and data privacy compliance frameworks out of the box including GDPR, CCPA and COPPA. However, The Hand of God allows for further customisation to create new compliance frameworks that suit the data protection regulations in the user’s jurisdiction.
Content Performance Monitoring
The Hand of God can track over 90 performance and engagement metrics across a wide range of content types including text, image, video, audio and interactive content. The framework also allows for implementing new metrics with bespoke tracking rules depending on case-specific requirements. Measurement timeframes can be as low as per minute, however, it depends on active privacy policy frameworks and the server configuration and resources.
Content Marketing Automation
As long as the framework is integrated fully with a CMS, it can automate several content marketing tasks including internal link building, AI-based bulk content generation (Programmatic SEO), rule-based content optimisation, content gap research, keyword research and content briefing. Also, The Hand of God framework can be integrated with social media automation and email marketing automation tools to expand its automation domain.
A/B and Multivariable Testing
Full integration with a CMS allows the framework to run, monitor and measure A/B split tests and multivariable tests. The process can also be automated based on user-defined criteria.
Global Analytics System
The Hand of God requires a constant stream of data to function. The data collected directly by the framework or integrated APIs (Like Google Analytics) is displayed directly on the analytics dashboard. Several charts, filters and reporting tools are implemented by default to facilitate data understanding. Out of the box, The Hand of God is capable to retaining and using data for up to 36 months for the purpose of analysis and reporting, however, this depends on the privacy policy frameworks and server storage.
Global Conversion Tracking
The analytics system allows users to define key actions (known as conversions) during a typical session. Therefore, the user has a comprehensive tool at their disposal to define conversion rules, monitor them and apply optimisations seamlessly without leaving the dashboard.
Digital Experience Monitoring
One of the key features delivered with The Hand of God is a comprehensive digital experience monitoring subsystem. Apart from the ability to connect to services like Microsoft Clarity or HotJar, The Hand of God has a bespoke user behaviour tracking system that allows users to access per-user and per-persona tools such as heatmaps, session journey, pattern tracking and interaction monitoring as well as behaviour analytics. The framework’s digital experience monitoring subsystem is highly customisable and allows users to define and monitor new metrics as long as the framework is fully integrated with their CMS.
AI-based Data Analysis
The Hand of God offers reliable data analysis across all datasets the framework collects. The subsystem also offers a wide range of data and performance reporting, both in text formats and visual formats. This subsystem is powered by the OpenAI API.
Global Surveyor
The Hand of God uses a surveyor bot that crawls internal and external pages for various purposes including domain profile check, SERP performance, speed test, backlink profiling, cannibalisation detection and negative SEO detection. The surveyor can be configured to crawl the user’s website(s) as well as the competitor’s. The speed and performance of the surveyor itself depend on the server configuration and resource. The surveyor was originally the crawler from the older project of mine: The Holy Inquisitor SEO Auditor Platform.
Negative SEO Countermeasure
The Hand of God surveyor monitors any activity on the user’s or competitor’s domain profile(s). The framework can be configured to issue alerts in case of negative SEO attack detection and apply relevant countermeasures such as link disavowing, 404 redirection, disowning and a variety of other common negative SEO countermeasures.
Scalability Features
The Hand of God was designed with scalability in mind. In this context, scalability is the use of one framework to establish a handshake with several properties, either in a single-user or multi-user environment.
Large-scale Deployment
The Hand of God can be deployed into a full content marketing suite, which allows the user to create sub-accounts for their clients. In this configuration, the framework is deployed with a global control panel and more than two sub-accounts. The number of sub-accounts depends on the server configuration and resources. While this form of deployment has been meticulously tested, it is still in BETA and requires further development.
API Management
Ant third-party marketing service with a standard RESTful design API can be integrated with The Hand of God framework. On the other hand, the user can create customised APIs in the framework and integrate The Hand of God with any third-party marketing service that accepts REST APIs. This allows The Hand of God to act as the user’s sole content marketing management platform.
Ethical Considerations
The centrepiece in The Hand of God framework mechanics is data. With data collection, monitoring and processing comes ethical responsibilities that were considered as soon as the very first version went live.
Consent and Policy Compliance
By default, The Hand of God prompt traffic for consent based on a selection of data and privacy policy frameworks. The user can define another consent and privacy policy compliance framework to match their jurisdiction regulations. This feature can be turned off but this is purely the framework user’s decision and action.
Data Collection Methods
Unless configured otherwise, The Hand of God collects data and tracks users using IP and cookie technology. However, user can define tailored data collection methods depending on their case-specific uses.
Data Tagging and Security
All data collected by the framework will be tagged by IP, session cookie, segmentation and similar non-identifiable tags. All data will be encrypted and stored off-site on a separate storage server. Under no circumstance The Hand of God allows users to change data tagging and security to ensure all data remain safe and anonymous when processed and used by the framework subsystems.
Proven Use Cases
The Hand of God have been successfully implemented into the content marketing workflow of 7 major clients since 2021, rendering the framework useful for their industries. While The Hand of God can be effective content marketing in any industry, the followings industries have been proven to be improved as the result of implementing this framework.

Infrastructure and Deployment
The Hand of God framework can be deployed on most Linux-based servers as long as the operating system has the required packages installed. The framework is successfully tested on AMD-based servers with Ubuntu, Almalinux and Centos. There should be no problem running the framework on Intel-based servers.
The Hand of God requires 3 separate servers: 1) Client Server, 2) Global Surveyor Server and 3) Off-site Storage Server.
The user can use KVMs or bare metals to deploy The Hand of God Client Server as long as the server has a minimum of x86-64 multicore CPU with 2.3 GHz base clock speed (or 8vCPU), 16 GB of RAM and 80 GB of storage. The Global Surveyor Server requires the same configuration but with 160 GB of storage to function with ideal performance. The storage server configuration depends on the amount of data, the data retention policy and the expected amount of data transfer.
It is recommended to deploy storage on a separate server, ideally in another location and another data centre. It should be clear that bandwidth should be as high as possible, ideally over 10 TB for a normal deployment.
Licensing and Pricing
The Hand of God is only provided in limited slots. When a new slot is opened, it will be auctioned and sold to the highest bidder. Terms of service and licensing will be applied upon announcing new slots. Currently, all slots are full. Please check back later!
